    "From ross.wearing@googlemail.com

I am writing to inform yourself and your parishioners of two Triathlon races we are organising on the 30th May and the 29th August 2010.

We would like these events to successful and enjoyed not only by those taking part, but also by the local communities in the vicinity of the race.

The race will be taking place on a Sunday from 7am till 12pm. The race consists of a pool swim at Bilton Grange school, followed by a 12 mile cycle and a run around Bilton Grange school grounds. The cycle will take in roads including those close to or within your parish.

The first cyclists will be on the roads from 7.10am onwards, with the last cyclists leaving the roads by approximately 11.30am. In order for the race to be a safe and fun event, we would welcome notification via your parish newsletter of the race if at all possible, and additional notification via Parish Council meetings.

The support of your parishioners would be greatly appreciated out on the bike course - a triathlon race is traditionally a great event to spectate and spend time with family and friends – especially sat out in the sunshine, (English weather permitting!). If it would be possible for them to consider avoiding roadside parking on the day if at all possible as well, this would greatly enhance the safety of the race and make the Rugby Triathlons memorable events for all the right reasons.

If you have any queries regarding the event, or would like to get involved yourself, please do not hesitate to contact me via email or  our race director using the contact details at the bottom of this page.

Thank you for your time and support,

    Yours faithfully,

    Ross Wearing

The Web Site has been updated!!
As a result of a deffective hard drive updates for the web site have been delayed. However the site is now up to date. The Willoughby Society Archives have gained many new images and docuemnts including the "nature notes" that have been compiled over the years. These can be accessed via the document search or the Nature notes page.
    Nostalgia Nights at the Rose
Following a successful gathering of past and present villagers in January there will be a Nostalgia Night at the Rose on the first Saturday of each month starting on march 6th. As well as an opportunity to reminisse there will be dominos, crib, and darts. The aim is to re-create the atmosphere of the Rose in the 1970-80s when the pub was the thriving focal point of the village.
